Cleaning and disinfection:
– As it is a semi-critical item for dental-medical-hospital use, a high-level disinfection procedure must be adopted after cleaning for its proper use;
– After use, the product should be washed in a sink with plenty of soap and water. Rinse well under running water. Let the excess drain. It is not necessary to wait for it to dry;
– After washing, disinfect the pen with the use of a solution based on 0.2% Peracetic Acid, ready for use, with a contact time of 10 to 30 minutes for total disinfection;
– Place in the freezer again for at least 1 hour and it will be ready for use again;
– After the disinfection process, mount the pen cap on the product paying attention to keep the opening for the cold to enter unobstructed;
– Wear appropriate protective equipment, such as gloves, mask, goggles and apron.
